Jamie: Always insists on brushing his own teeth.
Angus: Asking every day when daddy was going to set up the big bunk bed.
Pete: Holding onto his new pet dinosaur, a present he received on his third birthday.
The last night before the beginning of ‘the new era’: the era of the bunk bed. All three of them were giddy with the sort of childish excitement that makes a parent’s heart sing – even Jamie, who hasn’t quite fully accepted that he’ll be moving out of his room and into this one (though yesterday he did finally say, “New baby sleep in my cot.”)

love this photo. how exciting is a bunk bed for children? i always wanted one when i was a kid (never got one) x
I just love the bond between your boys, so gorgeous!
And the teeth cleaning, tell me how does one develop a love of teeth cleaning in their child? Every single time it is a nightmare with Lachlan!

Gosh, I have to ask Rick that one. He got them started and I have to say, they all love doing it. Our challenge is trying to let them let us brush it for them first. One thing Rick does do sometimes is to use one of their teddies and pretend that the teddy (or some other toy) is brushing their teeth for them!

oh bless them all! good luck with the bed change dance x
Jamie the brave!
Handsome little fellows! And I noticed they got haircuts, too. So sweet, those boys… <3
Here's to hoping Jamie adjusts to the new move! xo
Awww! Pete! <3 I also love it when I hear and witness a kid's excitement.
Your boys are just so adorable Ronnie – such cute happy little faces :) Hope the new bed situation is going well. Our little Sophie moved into a toddler bed this week too :( No more cot :(
We had a dental visit this week… I need to do more insisting that MUM brushes the teeth the longest, it seems. x
I love this image, Ronnie! So much joy captured in this moment.

Gorgeous boys! Good luck with the room swap, we are moving our two in together soon I won’t lie, it scares me a lot!
SNAP! we’ve got teeth brushing (or tooth brush sucking…) issues , new-ish bunks (currently with only one inhabited bed, wee j still in a cot) and a burgeoning dino obsession. dunno if you’ve already got some but i can highly recommend foam bed bumpers (that go under the sheet), make the big bed much more cosy and have prevented o-o from rolling out. x x x x
LOL, that is so very ‘snap’ indeed! Thx for the tip re: bumpers too.
