These days…

…Rick and I are feeling refreshed from a couple of days without the boys, though now that they’re home, we couldn’t be happier. I am loving my muesli and natural yoghurt in the mornings, coupled with fresh summer fruits. We have been experiencing harsh heat waves, followed promptly by pleasant cool changes. Rick is finally on holidays, which means the boys have daddy all to themselves with for two whole weeks. I am so pleased that Cameron’s blog is finally back up and running, and I am constantly moved by unexpected visitors who take the time to leave kind and beautiful words. Pete is increasingly excited at the prospect of starting preschool, whilst I can hardly believe that my little roly poly baby is ready to venture out into the world on his own…

Is that a mango? Because if it is, I need you to show me how to cut it up so perfectly… I am so terrible at that. Ha! Your world looks so soft and dreamy this week. I bet you’re happy to all be together again (though, I’m sure the break was nice!) ;) xo

Nice photos. What age is Pete fro starting preschool I’ve been looking into it for my little one. How many days is it for? Wondering if I should start my number 3 kind of sad to see him go off alone. Enjoy holidays I always love reading your blog.

He has to be three before he can start, and we’ll be putting him in for 3 days a week. I know what you mean about feeling sad about it.
Thx for reading!

You’ve really captured the essence of January.
School going back, heat waves, southerly changes, mangos……
:-) enjoy

It is so nice and refreshing to have to some just as a couple isn’t it.. My hubby and I had some time alone this weekend and it was just what we both needed I think. I am exactly like you when it comes to breakfast, muesli and yoghurt my favourite. Enjoy your week Rick at home. xx

It was WONDERFUL. Extremely refreshing. The house had never been so quiet.
(Though perhaps a little too quiet…)
