“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

Angus, Pete and Jamie: Heading back from the sand with daddy.

I have adored Jodi’s 52 Project since I stumbled across her blog last year. Her weekly portraits of her two children, Che and Poet, throughout 2012 have been beautiful and inspiring. This year, I have decided to take part in this wonderful project, thus joining a community of lovely, creative women across the world. More likely than not, my portraits will probably be of more than one child (as you can see here) and I wouldn’t rule out Rick making an appearance now and again (ditto). Jodi has very nicely reassured me that there are no rules, and so with that in mind, here is the first of many portraits to come…

This picture is beautiful. I am going to try to post a picture once a week as well. :) With 8 month old twins it may not look like your beautiful picture (as I don’t go out much right now since it is so cold for them) But I will do my best. My summer pictures will probably be better. :)

I love this idea so much… I’ve seen it on a few of the blogs I follow and think it’s so sweet. You’re so good with family-documenting projects, too!

P.S. I hope you and the boys are staying cool in this ridiculous Sydney heat! Almost all my family lives in the Sydney area, too, so I’m sending lots of prayers and love that way!

More inspiration from you Ronnie thank you – I hadn’t heard of this project before now, I too will be joining in – with an all boy cast also, my son and 2 grandsons (youngest born 2 days ago), I hope to improve my photography skills along the way. Love your ‘steps and stairs’ little guys, oh and the big guy too of course :)
