Things that have made me smile: An impromptu movie date with my husband last night! Seeing that I have FOUR days off next week on my work schedule. And my puppy when she does silly things like push her food bowl under something and not able to get it out…

Gorgeous flowers from your garden. Stu and I went shopping for some flowers for our garden on the weekend, can’t wait to pick some pretty flowers of my own!
I have to confess – those flowers aren’t from MY garden. Rick’s mum gave me the bunch on the right and the others were from a church friend’s! :)

Yes! We’re ok! Other parts of Northern Virginia had trees down, power outages and minor flooding but thankfully we were ok. We had power throughout! Thank you for asking!
