These days…

…the air is getting warmer. Spring seems just around the corner. The five of us are spending lots of time together, soaking up every minute of this precious family holiday. We are making frequent trips to our favourite cafe, and just loving it. I am even getting some quiet time to myself in the mornings while Rick takes the boys out to play. We are eating Crunchy Nuts for breakfast – our traditional holiday cereal. Pete is speaking more and more each day, which is so exciting. Meanwhile, Angus continues to astound us with his photographic memory, and Jamie has started to count from one to three. I am in constant awe of my wonderful husband, who everyday puts all of us before himself. I hope that our boys grow up to be like him – husbands and fathers who love their families abundantly and selflessly.

he does sound like a wonderful man. it’s what we want for our children even more than for ourselves isn’t it? that role model.

Aww, those last couple of lines gave me chills. :) Sounds like you have a great husband who takes very good care of his family. :) All little boys need a role model in their lives like that! Working in the customer service industry… I encounter so many people… and I can’t tell you how many times I am saddened by the way some parents speak & treat their kids. It’s terrible. :( so it’s very reassuring to me when I see… or read… or hear about great parenting! It’s an inspiration. And I keep those positive acts with me… It makes me even more eager to be a mom someday. :)

I’m glad you’re enjoying your holiday break! I hope the rest is just as, if not more, wonderful! :)

Cheers to you, Ronnie!

I love it how just as our leaves are going to start turning, and our air is going to get crisper and cooler, somewhere down under it’s going to start warming up and coming back into full colour. magical.
