I was recently invited to join The Creativity Project: a monthly blog circle started by a group of talented photographers with a different theme each month. I’m so excited to join these awesome ladies in this creative venture, and yes, this is my inaugural post!
This month’s theme is sun flare, which I’m happy to say is something I just love to capture in my photos. Most of you will know that we’ve been on holidays and over the weekend, we revisited the Sturt Gardens in Mittagong. We were there last year during our family holiday as well, and it was just lovely going back and observing how much the boys had grown up in a year! Naturally, I hung back to snap photos, and here, Pete was waiting for me to make sure that mummy wouldn’t be left behind… How sweet is this little guy?
Now head on over to Becky at Life with Kaishon and be sure to click through the links to continue throughout the circle and enjoy everyone’s take for this month’s theme.

What a fun project! Congrats on being a part of that. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with each month.
I love this photo, by the way. I can definitely understand the amazement & nostalgia when re-visiting places your family once been… brings back lots of memories, I’m sure. :)
Have more photos to share from that day soon – we had the most beautiful afternoon there…

The sun flare photo is terrific Ronnie. And poor little Pete looks so anxious
“Mummy, come! Mummy, come!” :)

Ah, the sun flare. Use it wisely, my friend. ;) Just kidding, your photography is always stunning! Fits in perfectly with your “golden hour” posts.
LOL – I know what you mean! There were lots to choose from, but this one stood out for me.

sun flares have always seemed so nostalgic to me. On the right picture, it’s the difference between memorable and, well, blah!
I was so urked when I bought my first photoshop (years ago) that you could just add a sun flare. It bothered me so much! (silly, I know.) seemed to just take the magic right out of it.
Your creativity project sounds fun, I can’t wait to see more.
P.S I figured out what was wrong with my camera…the problem that i asked you about a while ago. There actually is an adjustment for contrast, hue, saturation and sharpness. The sharpness, the contrast and the saturation were all turned way down, so I was getting hazy images. The settings were just so hidden in the maze of the pentax menu that I didn’t find it until a few days ago!
Gosh, I never ever realised you could add sun flare in Photoshop! Glad you figured out the camera issue too.
