We discovered a new spot by the sea this weekend: up high, almost in the sky, away from the buzz and activity down on the beach. We’d stopped by the local supermarket beforehand, and so we sat, eating delicious buns whilst watching a single pink cloud float across the sky. The boys sat perfectly on the bench. In the waters below, we could spot a few swimmers daring enough to brave the cold. A group of local tradesmen were gathered behind us, happy that it was the weekend. I felt the breeze, smelled the sea, and drank in God’s creation. It was wonderful.

Hey Cory,
I took this photo using my iPhone 4S camera! Most of the photos on the blog are taken by my iPhone because that’s the camera I have with me all the time. I honestly don’t get to tote around my Canon EOS much these days, much as I would like to…

Beautiful, Ronnie.
…being in the middle of moments like these… makes me think… I wouldn’t trade my life for anybody’s, anywhere, anyhow! Such eloquent capture too!
Soak on…
What a gorgeous photo! We live about 10 minutes from the beach but I hardly ever think to go. Which we should because my little one LOVES the water and watching the waves!

Beautiful photo! I always feel so tiny when I’m by the ocean (in a good way). I agree with Gesche and love what you said!
Hi Danie,
Thanks so much for stopping by. I know what you mean – the vastness of the ocean gets me every time.
