Hey good-looking…

I have to say – I love a good-looking cafe. (Yes, I’m shallow like that.)

And in my opinion, Awaba is a hot contender.

Not only does it overlook the gorgeous Balmoral Beach, but I just love the white base palette, the use of raw concrete, the curvy chairs, the split level and the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The result is a cafe space that seems much bigger than it really is and unusual geometric lines wherever you look.

You like?

It does (all the times I’ve been there anyway) – and yes, that concrete’s awesome.

Hi Ronnie,
I love a great cafe too! The perfect combo of ambience, great food and bev and good people makes for a great regular hang-out.
Yes! I’m an Aussie. Born in Sydney, but spent most of my teen years and early 20s living in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. I moved to California after uni and what was meant to be a temporary moved ended up being long-term. Now I am living in Houston, TX.
Great blog, by the way! And thanks for stopping by mine! :)
